We generally hold three social events each year. The first is in February after our Annual Membership Meeting. The second is in the late spring. And the third is in October for Co-op Month.
We are hosting a bonus social in 2025, on Thursday, February 27th at 7pm at the Great Dane Downtown (123 E Doty). We are co-hosting this social with folks from Shared Capital Cooperative, the cooperative loan fund, who will be in Madison for some meetings. This is an informal chance for us to share what our co-ops are up to, and for them to share what's going on more broadly in the movement, and for everyone to get to know each other. The Great Dane has a lot of space - we'll try to bring a banner but if you can't find us, feel free to call or text Rek at 608-561-1735.
Our socials are open to anyone interested in worker cooperatives -- current worker owners, people interested in starting cooperatives, people who want to support worker cooperatives. Sometimes people will break into small conversation, sometimes we'll have a larger group conversation, it all depends on who is there and what folks want to talk about.
